I enjoy getting to know my patients, learning about their lives so I can better meet their needs. I especially love seeing people receive great care at our practice, as they regain the confidence that comes with a beautiful and healthy smile. Working one-to-one with patients, I take X-rays, assess gum and oral health, and provide preventive cleanings and non-surgical gum care. A lot of my time with a patient focuses on education: I want them to know why it’s important to keep their mouth clean and give them the knowledge and tools needed to keep it healthy.
Originally from Oregon I now live in Lake Stevens with my husband and son. We live an active outdoors lifestyle, enjoying bike rides, hiking, and fishing. I also like working in my yard and with my husband on home improvement projects. My son participates in many school activities and I love supporting his interests.
My passion is making sure each patient has a positive experience at every visit. The same is true for the rest of our team: we’re all about personal care and customer service. Each of us is always available to make sure a patient is comfortable, relaxed, and informed. I seat patients, prepare them to see Dr. Dickinson, and explain what we’ll be doing. Sitting chairside, I assist the doctor during procedures, but my attention is always on our patient. I check that they’re comfy and keep them updated on how well the procedure is going.
Outside the office, I’m a fan of big dogs. In fact, I have “tons” of them, because I raise English Mastiffs! I’m happily married and love spending time with family, friends, and the pups.
I enjoy helping each patient feel comfortable and at ease during visits. A genuinely happy smile and words of thanks for making a visit painless and easy completely makes my day! I assist patients during visits, making sure they’re comfortable in the chair, prep them, and talk about what will happen. Then I support Dr. Dickinson as he tends to our patient, making sure he has everything needed while checking that our patient is relaxed. At the end of the procedure, I provide home care instructions and make sure the patient is happy with the visit.
When not working, I love time with my family. My husband of more than 20 years and I have two sons and a daughter. We all enjoy camping and hiking in the warmer months and skiing and snowboarding during the winter. I also serve in women’s ministries at my church.
I look forward to my days at the office, as they’re spent talking and laughing with our patients, building real relationships with them. We have a positive, happy environment and patients immediately know they’re welcome! I used to be a dental assistant but transitioned to the front office because I wanted time to talk with and get to know patients. I answer our phones, set appointments, and am in charge of the schedule, making sure each patient is seen on time and has plenty of time for their visit.
My time off is spent with my husband. We’re avid hikers and love getting outside! On Fridays, as the office is closed, I work at a produce stand and enjoy meeting neighbors and friends there. I’m very family oriented and love spending lots of time with my 13 nieces and nephews!

I am happy to build relationships with people and help keep them healthy by taking care of their oral health. We have an amazing team: everyone genuinely cares about our patients, personally! I offer preventive and periodontal cleanings, oral and periodontal exams, and a lot of patient education. It’s important people understand how the health of their mouth and body affect each other and what they can do to keep both in great shape. Seeing a patient make positive changes in their home care routine makes me smile!
My husband of ten years, Nick, and I just welcomed our first child, our son Howie, in February 2016. We live in Marysville with our orange cat, Bernie, and love to travel! I’m active in the Washington State Dental Hygiene Association and have held the office of President of the organization since 2013.
My job allows me to help patients realize they can achieve the best dental care. It’s an indescribable feeling to see the relief on a patient’s face when we find the financial terms that work with their budget. Dr. Dickinson believes everyone deserves optimal oral health and a beautiful smile, so we work with patients to make it happen. I help patients understand their proposed treatment plan and make sure they get the most from their insurance benefits. I enjoy getting to know people and building friendships during their visits.
I was born and raised on Oahu, HI, and moved to Marysville in 2006 with my husband, four adult children, and five grandchildren. When not working, I love to golf, am involved in hula, and am an active member at my church.
When a visit is finished and the patient is relaxed, smiling, and happy because they’ve had a great experience, I’m thrilled! It’s a great pleasure to work with such a caring and talented team, with everyone focused on each patient’s comfort and needs. I work chairside, assisting Dr. Dickinson with dental procedures, including extractions, crowns, impression, and implants. I especially love assisting with pediatric restorations: seeing a happy child’s smile at the end always makes me smile.
When not caring for patients, I enjoy animals, my garden and working on my house, and decorating and making crafts. I find a lot of joy in being a foster parent, too.
